Greetings Brothers and Sisters,

Welcome to the home of the Metro Detroit Chapter of the Coalition of Black Trade Unionists (CBTU).

I am blessed and honored to serve as your president. CBTU Detroit will continue to do the work necessary to help grow and sustain our unions and community. We will be enthusically engaged in the fight against injustice and for the equity of opportunity for all Americans.

It is my hope, if you are not already a member of the dynamic Detroit Chapter, you will join us. Our Chapter is committed to working with members from all unions. Those who are currently working, retired, or who are friends of Labor are all welcome.

We honor our past by creating a better future. In the spirit of respect and togetherness, we are brothers and sisters helping brothers and sisters. The CBTU Detroit Chapter is ready to do the work that needs to be done for labor, the community, and most importantly, our families.
